I'm a businessman who was travelling through the Kelowna area. After too many nights staying at hotels (I travelled 111 nights this year) I stayed at Adela's. Great place. Jay and JessieLyn were wonderful hosts. Great food. Enjoyed a glass of wine with them in the evening. Great views, better food, best sleep in weeks. I'll stay with Jess and Jay again! Wayne J." It really felt like I was in my own home. The best part was the ability to set your own breakfast time! The breakfast was restaurant quality! 5 out of 5 - "Great B & B in West Kelowna! We discovered a great B&B in West Kelowna, only minutes from the floating bridge. I thought I would share our experience with you: Even before we arrived, Jay the owner had texted me his schedule, so as to make it convenient for us to get in. We were able to meet him in person, otherwise he was going to text us the entry code for the door. He made it easy and welcoming. We parked walked up to the entranceway …it is surrounded by aromatic roses …so nice. Jay greeted us and gave us a tour. first, it is not a room, but a suite: a huge bedroom with King bed, an adjoining full bathroom with everything then a big a sitting room plus an outside deck. Some of the details I noticed were just how quiet it was, how immaculately clean it was …I thought the whole complex was new. The King bed …it was new I am sure. There was a convenient fridge in the bedroom, and large TV and a very secure lock on the bedroom door, and in the closet, a safe. The bedroom, hallways and bathroom all have motion sensor night lights, that took away the concern of going to an unfamiliar bathroom at night. And a little forshadowing; ... Jay quizzed us about our breakfast preferences and our preferred times. How is this for breakfast; Your choice of times, fresh juice, all you can drink, a HUGE fresh fruit salad, great coffee, (my wife had tea), a hot entree made right in front of you, different every morning, and all personally made by Jay’s lovely wife Jessie. They are just two really nice people, and after our two days we felt we had made new friends, in addition to discovering a fantastic Bed and Breakfast. We’ll be back; and will sing praises recommending Adela’s to anyone wanting a B&B in Kelowna or West Kelowna …it is only 6 or 7 minutes from the bridge. Before checking in, Jay texted me and let me know the room was ready so that we could come and check in early, which was very helpful since we took a very early flight from Calgary to Kelowna that morning. The house is amazingly clean (NO dust!!) and comfortable. Jay and Jessie are a very lovely warm and kind couple and they were always so helpful with their recommendations where to go and what to see. Another thing worth mentioning here is that the breakfast Jessie cooks is amazing! We especially liked the scones and muffins! (Those are homemade!!) Jesse and Jay were outstanding people, extremely welcoming, friendly and professional. I made several calls to Jay asking several different questions, and he took every call and answered every question with grace, patience and professionalism. They were extremely accommodating with a late arrival as well. Jesse's breakfast was delicious, on time and plenty for my husband and I to eat! What I loved most about this spot was how immaculate clean it is. The bedroom was a very large size, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was large, and very clean. Lots of private space, and we were able to take advantage of the private deck to catch up on some reading. Highly recommend this BnB. They are a very friendly, warm and welcoming couple with a beautiful home on the West bank of Kelowna. We were the only guests and had a very large, comfortable bedroom with everything we could possibly need. Both Jessie and Jay were very kind and helpful hosts, and Jessie prepared a delicious breakfast in the morning, which we enjoyed together with them. We would definitely recommend Adela's.
