Some of Our Favourite Attractions

Here are a few of the attractions we have visited and enjoyed in the area.  We like to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at Paynter's Market. Enjoy a glass of Riesling wine at Quail's Gate Winery.  Experience kayaking with friends in Peachland.  Take a relaxing afternoon stroll around Shannon Lake.  Enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the many restaurants.  To finish the day an evening walk at the promenade, around City Park and the Marina.

Just a couple of minutes drive from Adela's is row upon row of farmers field of fresh fruits and vegetables depending on the season.  Pick your own or buy straight from the market.

Old Vines Restaurant is a meeting place of fresh local ingredients. Their selection of dishes enhances the light, fresh and fruitful, rich style of Quails' Gate wines. Their menu is constantly evolving as a reflection of our focus to serve the best and freshest the valley's local artisans and west coast markets can provide. They are dedicated to providing you with a beautiful setting and the ultimate food and wine experience in the Okanagan Valley.

Peachland which is located just 15 minutes south  of Adela's B&B is a quaint tourist oriented town.   Stroll along Beach Avenue, check out the many shops and restaurants.  Enjoy the park along the lakeside.   Fish off the newly installed pier.

Some of our recommendations include:

Dining:  The Gasthaus Restaurant & Pub.

Coffee/Bakery:  Bliss Bakery

Ice Cream:   Ship's Ahoy Fish & Chips serves hard ice cream.

The view of the Marina at sunset! The Marina at Kelowna sits between City Park & Waterfront Park and is the base to a number of Okanagan Lake cruises and water adventure sports.
